FARMINGTON The Davis County Commission has appointed a five-member team to spearhead construction efforts for the county jail expansion project.
First up for the selection committee will be deciding which company will serve as construction manager/general contractor, Davis County Sheriff Chief Deputy Kevin McLeod said.
McLeod will chair the committee and Gary McKean of the Davis County Attorney's Office will serve as vice chairman. The three other members of the committee include county Commissioner Carol Page, the jail's maintenance supervisor and a citizen of Davis County.
