Dear Utah Valley,

Today (Wednesday) was really snowy, so it was really cold. But it's been really cool; we got to go see all the monuments on a bus tour. The Vietnam Memorial was my favorite part. We got to go to Arlington Cemetery for a couple hours. We got to see the changing of the guard, and in marching band they expect precision but nothing compared to that. It was probably the coolest thing I'd ever seen; they're just so exact in everything they do. We haven't practiced at all yet. We'll probably practice tomorrow — hopefully we'll remember what we're doing.
