Microsoft Corp., the software giant based in Redmond, Wash., and American Fork-based Certiport Inc. announced Tuesday that they have signed a multiyear agreement extending Certiport's global administration of the Microsoft Office Specialist program.
The Microsoft-endorsed program certifies users' proficiency with individual Microsoft Office software programs, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Since the program started in 1997, Certiport has delivered more than 2 million Microsoft Office Specialist certification exams.
