LAYTON Donations will be accepted at the Layton Hills Mall this month to help assist victims of the tsunami in Southeast Asia.
All money collected will be given to AmeriCares, a nonprofit humanitarian and disaster relief organization. The mall hopes to raise $3,000.
"We know people want to help the victims of this horrible catastrophe," said mall manager Linda Kelley in a statement. "Our goal is for the members of the community to come together in this great time of need and to help survivors maintain their health and rebuild their lives and communities."
Only cash or checks will be accepted.
