Sen. Leonard Blackham and Rep. Mike Styler, among others, have resigned seats in the state Legislature to accept Cabinet positions in the new administration of Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr., and the Republican Party will hold a special caucus to replace them.
I do not believe this is fair. Republicans should not be able to replace these men with other men or women who weren't even in the race. They should be replaced with men or women who actually ran for the office and received actual votes, despite what party they are from.
