life as we know it (7 p.m., Ch. 4): This show, which revolves around the sex lives of three high school boys, was inappropriate when it aired at 8 p.m. Beginning this week, ABC will air it at 7 p.m.

Joey (7 p.m., Ch. 5): Joey is falling for the actress who plays his daughter.

The O.C. (7 p.m., Ch. 13): Lindsay, who is Caleb's illegitimate daughter, is welcomed into the family; Marissa discovers that her mother, Julie (who's married to Caleb), is having an affair with Jimmy (Marissa's dad).

Committed (7:30 p.m., Ch. 5): NBC tries to juice up the ratings for its new Tuesday-night sitcom by airing an episode in "Will & Grace's" regular time slot. Or maybe the network just wants us to appreciate that "Will & Grace" could be worse — it could be as awful as "Committed."

CSI (8 p.m., Ch. 2): The game's afoot when a Sherlock Holmes buff is murdered in his perfectly re-created, Victorian-era, Baker Street study, and Grissom leads the investigation.

Will & Grace (8 p.m., Ch. 5): Yet another guest star in lieu of decent writing — Jeff Goldblum appears as Karen's old rival, and he has designs on taking over her company. (A repeat airs at 8:30 p.m.)

Meet the Parents (7 p.m., USA): The prequel to current release "Meet the Fockers." (Repeat)

Without a Trace (9 p.m., Ch. 2): The secret life of a 16-year-old girl is uncovered while investigating her disappearance.

PrimeTime Live (9 p.m., Ch. 4): Separating conjoined twins.

Medium (9 p.m., Ch. 5): This Monday night show also gets a special Thursday night airing — the very good pilot episode is repeated.
