The final nerve-agent-filled spray tank at the Tooele Chemical Agency Disposal Facility was destroyed Friday.
Now workers can begin the destruction of Deseret Chemical Depot's stockpile of more than 22,000 VX agent-filled land mines, according to a statement from the Depot.
Destruction of the last mine, scheduled for spring 2005, will mark the elimination of all VX-filled munitions at the Depot.
