TV Q & A: Gallaghers aren't related

Answer: Sorry, but Morgan Fairchild, under her real name of Patsy Ann McClenny (Wonder why she changed it?) graduated from good old Lake Highlands High in Dallas in 1968. Michael Parks is still around, and his more recent credits include the two "Kill Bill" movies. And Carlson is not in "Beverly Hills Cop," mainly because when that movie was released in 1984, the little twerp was only 15.

Question. I remember a TV movie that was on years ago, but I cannot for the life of me remember the title. It has Shirley Jones and Lloyd Bridges in it. They were each staying at an inn during Christmastime. He was visiting his wife in a mental hospital. I don't remember why she was there. Can you tell me (I know you can) the title and whether it is on video or DVD?

Answer: That's the 1969 made-for-TV movie "Silent Night, Lonely Night," and it's on video.

Question. Some 20 years ago, I saw a sci-fi TV movie about an international space station being threatened by a Red Chinese nuclear warhead platform. Is it out on DVD?

Answer: That's the 1971 made-for-TV movie "Earth II," with Anthony Franciosa, Gary Lockwood and Mariette Hartley. It's not yet on video or DVD.

Question. My mom and I can't agree if Kurt Russell starred in the movie "Toby Tyler." I thought it was someone named Moochie, but Mom thinks it was Kurt Russell. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer: The kid who played the title role in 1960's Disney film "Toby Tyler, or Ten Weeks With a Circus" (he played Tyler, not the circus) is Kevin Corcoran, who was busy as all get out in Disney projects for most of the 1950s. He appeared in the Disney film "Old Yeller" and played a kid named Moochie on "Mickey Mouse Club" adventure serials such as "The Further Adventures of Spin and Marty" and "Moochie of the Little League."

Question. In 1956 there was a TV series about a tugboat captain and a tugboat named the Cheryl Ann. Our daughter was born that year, and we named her Cheryl Ann, nickname Tug. We recently met another Cheryl Ann, nickname Buggy, but we cannot remember the name of the show or who was in it. Would appreciate any info.
