I have just read the article written by Mr. George H. Zinn ("Osmond barbs too sharp," July 29) and felt that he had taken things a little too seriously. The fans that attend the Osmond concerts are extremely loyal and friendships have been made between the Osmonds and the fans. I am sure that any comment made by Wayne would have been taken in the vein it was meant. The Osmonds are extremely dedicated to their fans and in my experience they have always pulled out all the stops to spend as much time with their fans as possible.
I know this article was written five months ago and the author has probably forgotten about it. But I felt very strongly that a reply should be given in defense of the family.
