The 9XTend RF module produced by Lindon-based MaxStream has been named product of the year by eeProductCenter, a Web site devoted to new electronic products.
The one-watt wireless module has potential applications in homeland security, remote monitoring, building automation systems, automated teller machines, point-of-sale terminals and keyless/remote access systems.
MaxStream produces wireless modem modules, stand-alone radio modems, RF design services and supporting software.
