The official language in the state of Utah is English. Those of other countries that immigrate to the United States need to learn how to speak English. How in the world does anyone think that we Americans living in America need to learn Spanish?
The burden of responsibility to teach English to children is with the parents. Why must this be an issue at all? Why must the school system have to take on this burden? You immigrate to America and learn to speak the language. Don't expect the mountain move to Mohammed.
