Salt Lake County mayor-elect Peter Corroon is continuing to fill appointed positions in his office, last week naming 13-year county government veteran Jim Braden as his public information officer.
In contrast to his appointments for deputy mayor and chief administrative officer, Corroon went in-house for this one. Braden has served as communications officer for the County Commission, Parks and Recreation Division and mayor's office.
Braden is also a veteran of local radio and the former director of the Utah Travel Council.
