Here's a list of what's closed on Thanksgiving (Nov. 27).

Parking Meters: Free parking.

Utah Transit Authority: Ski bus service will be in operation.

U.S. Postal Service: No deliveries Thursday. All post offices except the airport post office willbe closed. Special and express mail deliveries will be made. Collections will be made at boxes marked for holiday collection.

State liquor stores: All state liquor stores will be closed.

Federal, state, city and county offices: All offices closed.

Banks: All banks will be closed.

Garbage collection: Crews will pick up trash in Davis and Salt Lake counties on Friday. Garbage will be collected on Saturday for those whos pickup day is Friday, execpt in West Valley City. There, crews will collect all the trash on Friday.

Library: Salt Lake City and County libraries will be closed.

School districts: Schools will be closed.
