Opponents to a proposed Wal-Mart in Centerville waited too long to file a complaint to block the retailer from coming to town, a 2nd District judge has ruled.
Pleasant View resident David Putnam Jr. filed a complaint Nov. 15 asking the court to overturn a board of adjustments ruling that granted Wal-Mart a conditional use permit.
Judge Michael Allphin said the complaint was filed too late. Residents have 30 days to petition a board's decision. The Centerville Board of Adjustments made their original ruling on Oct. 13.
