PROVO Hiroshi Ogai, professor emeritus of international finance at Keiwa College in Niigata, Japan, will speak at Brigham Young University Wednesday at noon in room 238 of the Herald R. Clark Building.
As the director and chief economist with Meiko Securities Company in Tokyo from 1986 to 1992 and as the head of the International Treasury Department at Sumitomo Bank Tokyo's main office from 1979 to 1985, Ogai comes to BYU with a background of experience to address "The Post-war History of the Japanese Yen: An International View."
