An article in the Nov. 23 issue of the Deseret Morning News describes how critical Larry Miller is of Billy Hunter, the head of the NBA players association who has vowed to appeal the suspension of Ron Artest and others who were sanctioned by David Stern, commissioner of the NBA. Miller is quoted as saying, "This is the perfect opportunity for Billy Hunter to step forward and say, 'You know what, it went too far . . . . Instead he did just the opposite. And I'm really disappointed in that, personally."
Larry goes on to say, "The reputation of the league is at stake."
Wasn't it just a few short years ago that Larry Miller himself got into a fight with a fan during a Jazz home game? It seems to me just as reprehensible for a franchise owner to fight with fans. But then again, he made a public apology and all was forgiven. If Artest, Jackson and O'Neal made a public apology would they also be forgiven?
Larry Miller needs to check his own eyes for motes.
