5:12 a.m. Domestic Violence 922 S. Lake #3.
"Paul Foucault (6-23-68) and Brooke Racine (4-19-84) became involved in a domestic violence situation which lead to the police responding to their residence. "Racine was arrested for drug and child endangerment charges. Foucault was located in a nearby alley where he was attempting to hide. He was also arrested for drug, child endangerment, and domestic violence charges." Salt Lake City Police crime log
On any day of the week, police and court documents show meth addiction's intrinsic relationship to crime.
In the same week that the Deseret Morning News published the six-day "Generation Meth" series, a review of crime briefs and police files showed a number of high-profile crimes relating to methamphetamine.
Also Monday, two people landed in jail after leading police on a high-speed chase while under the influence of meth. The pair stole a car and led Tooele police in and out of neighborhoods and through a school zone at 90 to 100 mph.
Tuesday Nov. 16 A SWAT team served a no-knock search warrant at a house on Pueblo Street after investigating an individual in the house for distributing meth and cocaine. One man jumped out of a window but was apprehended by a police dog. He had a meth pipe in his possession.
Also Tuesday, a 24-year-old man was booked in the Davis County Jail after he attempted to steal a car with three teenage friends in Bountiful. Police found a meth pipe on the man as well as burglary tools.
Wednesday, Nov. 17 The Associated Press reported Ogden defense attorney Geoffrey Clark was arrested after allegedly trading legal services for methamphetamines from an undercover officer. Clark was arrested and booked into the Weber County Jail for investigation of possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia, sheriff's Capt. Klint Anderson said.
