MEN'S BASKETBALL: On Friday, BYU All-Sport Card holders can pick up tickets for the men's game at the Delta Center on Dec. 11 against Washington State. Some 1,500 lower bowl tickets are available for the game.
The ticket distribution will take place Friday night at the conclusion of the women's game against SUU. The Marriott Center doors will open at 6 p.m., and students should enter through the North East doors. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

SOFTBALL: Two dynamic hitters have signed national letters of intent to join the University of Utah softball team next fall.
Utah coach Mona Stevens announced the addition of Hailey Davenport (West Jordan/Bingham HS) and Jessica Shiery (Windsor, Calif./Windsor HS) to the softball roster for the 2006 season.
SWIMMING: The University of Utah swimming and diving teams travel to Bloomington, Ind., to compete in the Indiana University Invitational. The meet will take place Thursday-Sunday at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center. Teams competing in the meet include: Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Cincinnati, Utah, Kentucky, Toledo and Miami of Ohio.
Utah has signed four high-school recruits, three local products and one more from San Diego. The announcement came today from head coach Michael Litzinger. Utah signed Jennifer Fredsall from Kearns; Jennifer Trescott from San Diego; Ricky Nerud from St. George; and George Evans from Salt Lake City.
VOLLEYBALL: On the heels of its first Mountain West Conference regular season championship, four spikers and head coach Beth Launiere won postseason honors Wednesday, the eve before the conference tournament in Fort Collins, Colo.
Launiere was named Coach of the Year after leading her team to a share of the MWC regular season championship with a 13-1 record. The team tallied its ninth straight 20-win season, going 22-3 overall.
Lyndsey Henderson, Shelly Sommerfeldt and Kelsie Kartchner were tabbed all-conference while sophomore Connie Dangerfield won Libero of the Year accolades.

VOLLEYBALL: The Salt Lake Community College volleyball team successfully navigated their way through the playoffs, with wins over Dixie State and Arizona Western, and have earned a berth in the NJCAA National Tournament next week in West Plains, Missouri. The No. 3 seeded Bruins will open nationals with a matchup against No. 14 Temple College (Texas) on Monday 10 a.m.
