The Salt Lake Chamber's initiatives to boost economic development will be the topic of Friday's "technology@breakfast" event.
Activities take place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Alta Club.
Lane Beattie, president and chief executive officer of the chamber, will be the guest speaker. Beattie will discuss the strategic initiatives as well as general chamber developments, with an emphasis on the economic impacts of research universities.
