CHARLOTTE, N.C. Because their game against New Orleans on Monday - John Stockton's number-retirement night is sold out, the Jazz on Tuesday announced an addition to the KJZZ television schedule.
Coverage of the 7 p.m. game begins at 6:30 p.m., and will include a live segment with Stockton.
The Monday halftime ceremony in which the NBA's all-time steals and assists leader's No. 12 is raised to the rafters of the Delta Center also will be carried live in its entirety on KJZZ.
Previously, the game was not scheduled for TV coverage.
Additionally, KJZZ will broadcast a two-hour special, "PrimeTime Stockton," from 8-10 p.m. Sunday. Features include a one-hour documentary on Stockton, studio segments with Jazz owner Larry H. Miller, former Jazz star Karl Malone and ex-Jazz coach and general manager Frank Layden, and highlights from various games in which Stockton played.
