GRADE A
Offense
Except for a foolish turnover in the final minute, the Utes were nearly flawless. The Utes piled up 488 yards and everyone got into the act with five different players scoring touchdowns. Alex Smith passed for three touchdowns, ran for one and had 334 yards of total offense.
GRADE B
Defense
The Utes gave up more than 400 yards and for the fourth game in a row, at least 28 points. But two of the touchdowns came in the final minute of the game against mostly backups. Tommy Hackenbruck led the way with 13 tackles and Morgan Scalley came up with his sixth of the season.

Special teams
For a change, the Ute kickoff team played well with at least three touchbacks. David Carroll stayed perfect by making his fourth field goal of the year, from 25 yards out as well as six PATs. He also made a touchdown-saving tackle on a second-half kickoff. Matt Kovacevich averaged 50 yards on three punts.

Overall
As usual the Utes put the game away early in racing out to a 31-7 halftime lead. They got a little sloppy in the second half and couldn't be happy about giving up two touchdowns in the final minute. Still, they are 10-0 and still haven't had an opponent get closer than 14 points.
