Take note of air pollution

Published: Saturday, Nov. 13 2004 12:00 a.m. MST

In this day and age, even though it's all around us, most people don't even notice air pollution. The truth is, neither did I, until I went to Italy. In Italy, the sky was clear and when you breathe it's as if you're in the mountains.

Most people drive vespas — scooters. Gas is also $5 a liter. Most transportation is electric.

Isn't it sad that the majority of Americans don't notice air pollution.

I have. And I'm only 14.
