LEMONY SNICKET'S A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS — This big-screen adventure features characters from the best-selling children's-book series, and actually adapts the first three books.

SPANGLISH — This comedy from filmmaker James L. Brooks stars Adam Sandler and Tea Leoni as a couple who receive unique counseling from their new maid.

THE FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX — A remake of the 1965 adventure about plane crash survivors trying to be rebuild their plane. Dennis Quaid stars.

MEET THE FOCKERS — This sequel to "Meet the Parents" has Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) introducing his in-laws (Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner) to his parents (Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand).

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA — Gerard Butler stars as the title character in director Joel Schumacher's version of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.

FAT ALBERT — Bill Cosby co-wrote this live-action comedy, based on his comedy skits and the Saturday-morning cartoon series.

THE LIFE AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISSOU — The latest from filmmaker Wes Anderson is a comedy-fantasy starring Bill Murray as an oceanographer out for revenge.

AN UNFINISHED LIFE — Jennifer Lopez is a single mother trying to reconcile with her father-in-law (Robert Redford) in this drama from director Lasse Hallstrom.
