Taxes in Salt Lake County will be examined more closely in the next part of this series on Monday. Utah County taxes will be examined on Tuesday. And taxes in Davis and Weber counties will be examined on Wednesday.

As Utahns prepare to pay hundreds, and thousands, of dollars in property taxes for their homes — taxes that are due this month — a Deseret Morning News analysis of property taxes along the Wasatch Front shows which areas pay the most, or least, and why.

Today: An overview

Monday: Salt Lake County

Tuesday: Utah County

Wednesday: Davis and Weber counties
