- Saltgrass Printmakers, 2126 S. 1000 East, will have its first anniversary fund-raiser, "First Impression," on Friday from 6-10 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Some of the participating printmakers, whose work will be on sale, are Gary Barton, Ed Bateman, Sandy Brunvand, Elizabeth DeWitte, Justin Diggle, Stefanie Dykes, Robert Kleinschmidt, Susan Makov, Joe Ostraff and more. An exhibit of the artists' prints will be on display at Saltgrass through January 2005.
- Salt Lake Art Center, 20 S. West Temple, will have another of its Art Talks on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. The lecture, "Gary Hill in Context of Artists and Experimental Media in the West," will be given by Robert Riley, former director of the Richard L. Nelson Gallery, University of California Davis, and former director of New Programs/curator of Media Arts at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston. For more information call 328-4201.

- The Kimball Art Center announces a call for entries for Latino artists living in Utah to submit artwork for consideration in the upcoming exhibition, "Arte Latino: A Celebration of Latino Art in Utah." Categories are ceramics, painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture and traditional folk art. Deadline for submissions is Dec. 1. - American Fork Art Council announces a call for entries for all children age 5-12 for its "Christmas in the Rotunda Art Exhibit," which will be on display in the American Fork Library from Dec. 4-31.
