SPANISH FORK One of the two survivors of a Missouri plane crash returned home Monday night after spending a week in intensive care.
Wendy Bonham, Spanish Fork, survived a commuter jet crash Oct. 19 that killed 13 of the 15 passengers. Bonham and Dr. John Krogh, Wallsburg, were the only survivors. Another Utah man, Dr. Clark Ator, Alpine, died on the ill-fated Corporate Airlines flight from St. Louis to Kirksville.
Bonham's arm was broken in 10 places, her leg was badly cut and her body was burned. She spent 10 days in a Missouri hospital before returning home by train Monday night.
According to family friends, Bonham will continue to receive out-patient treatment from the University of Utah Hospital until she fully recovers.
