OREM Utah Valley State College will hold a lunar eclipse lecture on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Ragan Theater before viewing the celestial sight outdoors.
UVSC astronomy professor Karl Haisch will speak about the significance of a lunar eclipse and its historical folklore. Afterward attendees will go to a viewing deck to observe the eclipse firsthand.
