Bill Clinton: "How many people have died from a stain on a blue dress today? It's still zero."

Hillary Clinton: "Hillary. Ooh, scary! The first woman president of the United State is coming to get you."

His movie: "The movie has upset a lot of these right-wingers. It's upset them because it's brought the truth to the American people about George W. Bush, and it's damaged his chance for re-election."

Ralph Nader: "The people don't want you to run. Don't work out your anger on the American people. It's so sad to see a great man strike a match to his own legacy. I can't tell you on a personal level how sad it is to see him do that this year."

Republicans: "The difference between our rallies and the Bush rallies is you don't have to sign a loyalty oath. Everyone is welcome. I believe that you Republicans have a good heart and you have a conscience and you have a soul and you are a human being created by God deserving the respect that all of God's creatures deserve."

The media: "The media in this country have done such a poor job of informing us of the truth. They did us such a disservice before the war in Iraq. The media, instead of before the war started demanding the evidence, doing their investigations, asking the hard questions, they went along with the Bush administration because they wanted to go on a ride in a tank in the desert. Imagine if the media had done its job before the war and informed the Americans about the truth. Those 1,100 Americans might still be alive if the media had done its job. Those of you in the media, you have a public trust — a public trust that comes from us to you. You get to go into the places of power with your cameras and recorders and note pad . . . to ask the questions we're not able to ask and to find the truth. You're our stand-ins. You're our surrogates. You're supposed to tell us the truth, not play kissy-face with politicians at White House parties."
