There are lots of questions circulating about Ellis Ivory, the write-in candidate for Salt Lake County mayor. Is he crazy to enter in this controversial election? What about his four "no's"? Is he for real? Who knows his true motivation?
I do.
I am Ellis Ivory's daughter. I grew up in a home where the principle of giving was taught and lived. Ellis Ivory cares about others. He's served his community his whole life. He cares about this county and its future. Our family mission statement says that Ivorys GIVE creatively; they don't wait to be asked. It's sad to me that this concept is questioned in our "what's in it for me?" society.
