OREM Self-described "progressive" professors and students at Utah Valley State College will meet at 4 p.m. today to talk about the controversy generated by filmmaker Michael Moore's scheduled speech at the state-owned college.
Philosophy professor Dennis Potter and a group called the UVSC Faculty for Peace and Justice organized the forum.
The focus of the forum will be on the negative community response to the student government's decision to pay Moore $40,000 of student fees to speak.
Moore's sold-out speech is Wednesday in the McKay Events Center.
The meeting will be in room 109 of the college's ethics center.
