The search for a man who was presumed missing from a campsite in East Canyon ended when he reappeared more than 12 hours later at the drum circle in Liberty Park.
The man was camping with a friend Saturday night. He allegedly got drunk, argued and walked away from camp, Salt Lake County Sheriff's Sgt. Rosie Rivera said.
The man did not return to the campsite by Sunday morning. Salt Lake County search and rescue volunteers organized and began looking for him about 10:30 a.m. A helicopter also helped in the search, Rivera said.
About 5 p.m., a police officer noticed a person who matched the missing man's description hanging out at the drum circle at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City, Rivera said.
