Vote for person, not party

Currently, Utah politics is in sore need of checks and balances because as I learned in one of my political science courses at the University of Utah, "Whenever you have a one-party state, you create a dictatorship."

An election official in Utah County once said to me, "The straight-party vote option on the ballot is important; otherwise people would need to pay attention for whom they are voting." Please study the candidates and vote for the person, not the party. Checks and balances make for good government.
