Seventh Annual Storytelling Festival at Westridge Elementary, 1720 W. 1460 North, Provo, at 5 p.m. The event will include professional and Westridge student storytellers at three different venues within the school. Bring the entire family. Food concessions will be for sale at the event. The public is welcome. Free.

Ty Fredrickson, head chef at Market Street Grill, will share some of his secrets on how to select, prepare and present a variety of fish dishes at Thanksgiving Point's Kitchen Depot cooking class. from 6:30-8 p.m. Cost is $25. Call 768-2300 for more information.

Intermountain Health Care is sponsoring a free breast cancer awareness presentation in the Clark Auditorium in the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center's northwest plaza building between 11 a.m. and noon. The public is invited. Free.

"Evangelicalism and the Rise of the 19th Century British Feminism" will be the topic by guest speaker Kris Frederickson at noon in 325 Spencer W. Kimball Tower at Brigham Young University. The event is part of the Women's Studies Colloquium, which aims to provide forums for scholarly research on women.

"The Strict Standard of True: Greek Poets Respond to the Sculpture of Their Own Time" will be presented by Michael Tueller, assistant Professor of Humanities, Classics and Comparative Literature at BYU as part of the BYU Museum of Art Lecture Series in the museum auditorium Level 2 from 7-8 p.m. Open to the public. Mentor Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the fifth floor of the Harris Fine Arts Center at BYU. Sponsored by the Department of Communications. Sixteen communications professionals representing broadcast and print journalism, public relations and marketing/advertising will participate in mentoring students and doing resume critiques.
