What is to suggest that those who are LDS and vote straight party ticket didn't study the issues and candidates and still decide to vote for all Republicans or all Democrats?
I find it curious that the majority of the letters to the editor about how disturbing it is that many LDS people vote Republican are from LDS people who choose to vote for Democrats.
If we really want to follow LDS counsel, then let's give everyone the benefit of the doubt and let them choose to vote how they decide is best, instead of chastising those who we think made the "wrong" decision.
