AUGUST 9

• The Salt Lake County District Attorney's office charges Mark Hacking with one count of first-degree felony homicide and three counts of second-degree felony obstructing justice. His bail is set at $1 million. New allegations reveal that Mark Hacking shot his wife in the head with a .22-caliber rifle while she slept on the morning of July 19. Allegations also suggest Mark and Lori argued about his lies regarding his schooling before the killing.
