Salt Lake-based vSpring Capital led a $10 million Series B financing round for California-based Cemaphore Systems, a provider of messaging services management solutions.
Also involved were existing investors Mayfield and Worldview Technology Partners. Ed Ekstrom, vSpring Capital's managing director, has joined the board of Cemaphore.
The company said the funds will be used to broaden sales efforts, increase awareness and further enhance the company's MailShadow product.
Founded in 2002, Cemaphore is based in San Mateo, Calif., and has development in Provo. It has raised $19.4 million from Mayfield, Worldview Technology Partners, vSpring Capital and individual investors.
