"Mail-in" voter registration deadline is Oct. 13 for those who wish to vote on Nov. 2.
Sherrie Swensen, Salt Lake County clerk, said those who are already registered needn't reregister unless they have moved since they last voted.
"Registering to vote by mail is the most convenient way to register," Swenson said. "After this deadline, individuals who are not already registered to vote and wish to participate in the Nov. 2 general election will need to register by appearing in person on designated days at a satellite location or in the County Clerk's Office," Swenson said.
A "mail-in" registration form and instructions can be found on pages 46 and 47 of the telephone book, at Salt Lake County post offices and libraries, or online at www.clerk.slco.org
