The numbers: Willis Ferguson was the spoiler in the Cavemen's win last week over Lehi in the Pioneers' homecoming. The senior captain recovered three fumbles. His two first-half fumble recoveries led to American Fork scores. He did all of the work on his third fumble recovery, grabbing the loose ball early in the third quarter and rambling 58 yards to paydirt. Ferguson has recovered four fumbles on the season, to go with his 17 assisted tackles, five unassisted tackles, three sacks and eight quarterback hurries in four games.

Tamika Wilson

Class: Senior

Position: Midfielder

The numbers: In Orem's 4-2 win last week over Lone Peak, Wilson had a hat trick. More importantly, each of her three goals came when the score was still tight. Wilson scored the first, third and fourth goal. "She pretty much won that game for us," coach Melanie Hoopes said. For the season, Wilson has nine goals in seven games. "She is a dominant player. She has complete control of the ball," Hoopes said.
