Julia Bachison, of North Ogden, a student at Weber State University, has been named Miss Utah State Fair.
A daughter of Cliff and Marie Bachison of North Ogden, she received the honor Thursday night.
Her attendant is Lynley Peterson, a student at Southern Utah University and daughter of Rhett and Ann Peterson of Nephi.
Both the queen and her attendant will preside over fair activities through the duration of the fair. Bachison will represent the Utah State Fair at the Miss Utah Pageant in June 2005.
The State Fair has also named winners in its County Booth contest:
- Grand Prize: Cache County
- Best Representation: Summit County
- Most Attractive: Davis County
- Award of Merit: Beaver County
- Most Educational: Carbon County
- Best use of Fair Theme: Juab County
- Honorable Mention: Wayne County and Iron County
