PROVO Find out details of the proposals to alter how schools are used in the Provo School District at meetings this week.
Two open houses will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Provo High School, 1125 N. University Avenue.
District officials are looking for input on five scenarios that attempt to deal with aging schools and unbalanced enrollment growth.
Elementary and middle schools that could be demolished, rebuilt or converted to another use are:
Edgemont Elementary
Grandview Elementary
Joaquin Elementary
Provost Elementary
Rock Canyon Elementary
Timpanogos Elementary
Wasatch Elementary
Farrer Middle School
Dixon Middle School
Elementary schools that cannot be closed due to geographic locations or inability of surrounding schools to absorb enrollment are:
Canyon Crest Elementary
Franklin Elementary
Spring Creek Elementary
Sunset View
