PROVO — Joe Cannon, chairman of the Utah Republican Party, will speak at the Sept. 13 meeting of the Utah County Republican Women.
The noon meeting will be in Room 201 of the Provo City Library at Academy Square, 550 N. University Ave.
Cannon is a partner at a Washington, D.C., law firm.
Cannon, who was president and chairman of the board of directors of Geneva Steel from 1981 to 1985, also was a ranking official in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
