PROVO — Don't know much about the proposals to drastically change how schools are used in the Provo School District?

Two open houses will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Provo High School, 1125 N. University Ave.

District officials are looking for input on five scenarios that attempt to deal with the district's aging schools and unbalanced enrollment growth.

Elementary and middle schools that could be demolished, rebuilt or converted to another use are:

• Edgemont Elementary

• Grandview Elementary

• Joaquin Elementary

• Provost Elementary

• Rock Canyon Elementary

• Timpanogos Elementary

• Wasatch Elementary

• Farrer Middle School

• Dixon Middle School

Elementary schools that cannot be closed due to geographic locations or inability of surrounding schools to absorb enrollment are:

• Canyon Crest Elementary

• Franklin Elementary

• Spring Creek Elementary

• Sunset View

Provo's Board of Education must select a plan by which to guide district growth by November. For more information about the scenarios, go to www.provo.edu.
