OFFENSE: Alex Smith played a role in five touchdowns—throwing for three and running for two. Utah racked up 582 yards of total offense. Grade: A-minus

DEFENSE: Kept the Aggies in check despite losing starting safety Eric Weddle on the first play and back-up Kawika Casco later in the first quarter. Grade: B-plus

SPECIAL TEAMS: Bryan Borreson missed an extra point as the lone blemish on an otherwise non-descript night. Grade: B-minus

OVERALL: Utes have to be happy after opening the season with a lopsided win over a Big 12 team on ESPN. Grade: A-minus
