Last night the news mentioned 65,000 illegal immigrants in Utah. To allow the illegal immigrants to stay in the United States it will cost taxpayers $19 billion. If they were legalized the net cost would shoot to $29 billion.
A figure earlier this year indicated we spend $100 million a year to try and educate the children of illegal immigrants, but at what cost to Utah's citizens in taxes and to what cost to our children's education?
How will the people on fixed incomes, retired and the elderly survive? When will American citizens demand that our elected officials respond to our needs and stop the flow of illegal immigrants and their drain on our state and country?
