Salt Lake-based Evans & Sutherland Computer Corp. on Thursday said it has agreed to sell its ESCP and TargetView projection product lines to Video Display Corp.
The agreement is expected to be final by Sept. 24.
Terms call for Video Display to buy all product assets for the cathode-ray tube product families. E&S will continue to manufacture CRT products currently on order through the end of the third quarter, and Video Display will take over manufacturing Oct. 1. A complete transition to Video Display facilities is expected to be complete by year-end.
E&S will continue to offer CRT project products and support service contracts for them.
Georgia-based Video Display designs, develops and manufactures display products for military, medical and industrial uses, with emphasis on high-end training and simulation applications.
