Roland Kayser (Readers' Forum, Aug. 19) compares Al Franken to Sean Hannity, saying "The facts that Franken cites are true." If Franken is so thorough about his facts, we would expect him to remember being escorted out of Fox News by security guards after screaming at Hannity, wouldn't we? On page 87 of his hardcover edition, Franken accuses Hannity of fabricating the part about the guards.
Franken was recently confronted with the fact that four witnesses are willing to testify under oath that they saw Franken being escorted out by the security guards. Franken admitted that his recollection may have been wrong.
