ALPINE A man in Alpine found a pipe bomb Wednesday afternoon at the construction site of his new home on the east bench.
The man took the device to Lone Peak Police, who called in the Utah County Bomb Squad to dismantle it.
The device was approximately six inches in length, capped on both ends and had an exposed fuse, according to Lone Peak Police.
The investigation into the origin of the device is ongoing, police said.
