Fred Hunsaker was appointed Friday to represent House District 4 in the Utah House of Representatives.

He replaces Loraine Pace, who resigned last month.

Gov. Olene Walker made the new appointment.

"I have worked with Fred when he served previously in the Legislature and know him to be highly capable," she said. "I am confident he will serve the citizens in his district well."
