A Utah State Prison inmate shown in civilian clothing was not working on asbestos removal at the State Capitol when photographed as was stated in a photo caption in Saturday's Deseret Morning News. Rather, Sherwin Barney was chipping away plaster from a wall of the Capitol dome. As stated in the article, prisoners, helping with Capitol restoration as part of the Utah Corrections Industries, are required to wear head-to-toe airtight airproof Tyvex suits with respirators when entering asbestos abatement zones as required by strictly enforced OSHA and EPA regulations.
