No proof of gay gene

Though it is inaccurate and even hurtful to make statements that would indicate that all people with homosexual orientation are also pedophiles, research indicates that homosexuals molest children at a far higher rate than heterosexuals.

However, also of concern is the action of normalizing homosexuality, including allowing acting-out gays, lesbians or bisexuals to be youth leaders. Research studies have failed to show proof of a gay gene. Rather, the evidence indicates that such a predisposition may have some genetic and prenatal influences, but that environmental influences at critical phases of development must also be present.
